Can someone help to choose a digital camera for scuba diving?

I’m starting in this amazing world of scuba diving, and I’d like to choose a good camera for a novice I’m not a PRO so I’m looking something inexpensive but good quality

   Start with a Sealife housing and the digital cam they sell, comes in a package deal. I have one and I really like it. I am a professional photographer (aerial and underwater) and I also teach digital photography in my computer sciences classes. I could dump a load of cash into a high dollar housing for my 35mm digital but I didn;t since the Sealife takes such high quality pictures. Oh, and I am also a PADI Divemaster
